TwoDo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TwoDo collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the app and related services.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as your email address and display name.
- User content you create in the app, including shopping lists, chores, appointments, meal selections, and notes.
- Household collaboration data such as membership, roles, invite codes, and household activity.
- Device and app identifiers used for authentication, messaging, and app security, such as Firebase Auth identifiers and push notification tokens.
- Calendar access, if you grant permission, so TwoDo can list available calendars and create appointment events for you.
- Subscription and billing status provided through Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat so we can determine whether your household has access to premium features.
How We Use Information
- Provide shared shopping, chores, meals, and appointments.
- Sync your household data across devices.
- Send notifications about activity, reminders, and summaries when enabled.
- Enable calendar sync if you choose to connect your device calendar.
- Verify and manage subscription access for premium household features.
How We Share Information
TwoDo uses Firebase for authentication, storage, cloud functions, and notifications. We also use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and connect with Apple and Google billing systems.
Household information is shared with the members of the household you choose to join or create. Invite codes can also be shared through system services such as Messages, Mail, or other apps you select.
Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
- Settings > Delete account, if you are already in a household
- Household setup screen > Delete account, if you are not yet in a household
If you delete your account and your household has other members, shared household content may remain available to them while your direct personal identifiers are removed. If you are the last member of a household, associated household data may be deleted.
Your Choices
- Manage notification settings in the app.
- Revoke calendar access in your device settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google Play.
- Delete your account in-app or contact us for support.
